The main specifications, features, and other information of BS6 variants of Yamaha FZ 25 and FZS 25 motorcycles have been listed by the company on the Indian website. Prior to the launch, the company has introduced information about these models. Yamaha has not given any information about the launch of both the bikes at the moment, but it is believed that the company can launch after the lockdown till the end of May or in the month of June.

Quarter-liter naked motorcycles get the company new bi-functional LED headlight, LED daytime running lamp, sharper design, multi-function LCD instrument cluster, under the cowling, advanced mud muffler cover, engine cut-off switch with a side stand, dual-channel ABS, tubeless tires and etc. are provided. Both the bikes have a lightweight body that comes with stability and a better economy. The BS6 FZS 25 weighs 154 kg. At the same time, the FZ 25 weighs 153 kg. BS6 FZS 25 has additional features like brush guard, tall visor, and golden wheels.

Talking about the dimensions, the Yamaha FZ 25 motorcycle has a length of 2,015 mm, width 775 mm, and height 1,075 mm. The FZS 25 comes with a different dimension and has a width and height of 820 mm and 1,105 mm. The total length of both bikes is the same. Talking about ground clearance, it has 160 mm and 1,360 mm. Both the bikes have a 14-liter fuel tank. The FZ 25 motorcycle has two body colors – Metallic Black and Racing Blue. At the same time, FZS 25 has three shades – Platina Green, Dark Matte Blue, and White Vermillion.

 About power specifications, the new Yamaha FZ 25 and FZS 25 motorcycles have fuel injection technology with 249 cc, air-cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke single-cylinder motor equipped with BS6 standards. The engine generates a power of 20.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and torque of 20.1 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This engine comes with a 5-speed gearbox.

Both bikes have telescopic front forks and a 7-step adjustable mono-cross suspension at the rear. Talking about braking, the company has given dual-channel ABS with a 282 mm disc at the front and 220 mm disc at the rear. Apart from this, the company has provided engine guards, USB chargers, bike covers, tank pads, and seat covers as accessories.
