Delhi Capitals won by 7 wickets against the Mumbai Indians

Match 13 of the WPL (Women’s Premier League) was played between the Delhi Capitals and the Mumbai Indians. The match was played at Vadodara International Cricket Stadium, Kotanti. Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first.
In the first inning, Sanjeevan Sanjana and Hayley Mathews opened for the Mumbai Indians, but both the openers failed to give a good start to the Mumbai Indians. After their wickets, Nat-Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur played an amazing game for the Mumbai Indians, which helped them to score a proper score for Mumbai. Harmanpreet Kaur scored 41 runs in 33 balls, and Nat Sciver-Brunt scored 65 runs in 45 balls. But after this, the Mumbai Indians failed to build a good partnership.
For Delhi, Marizane Kapp, Nandini Sharma, and Nallapureddy Charani took all the important wickets. And at the end of the inning, Mumbai made 154 runs on the loss of 5 wickets.
In the second inning, Shefali Verma and Lizelle Lee opened for the Delhi Capitals and gave a good start to Delhi. Shefali scored 29 runs in 24 balls, and Lizelle Lee scored 46 runs in 28 balls. Delhi completed the match in 19 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. For Mumbai, Amanjot Kaur and Vaishnavi Sharma took one wicket.
Jemimah Rodrigues won the player of the match because of her amazing performance with the bat, scoring 51 runs in 37 balls.
