CSIR UGC NET Exam: Registration begins at the Official website csirnet.nta.nic.in.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the Joint CSIR UGC NET exam to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS). The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the CSIR UGC NET Exam on March 10, 2023, for both December 2022 and June 2023 sessions.  Candidates can apply online through the official site of CSIR UGC NET at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Last date of submission-

Interested candidates can apply for the exam by April 10, 2023. In 2023, the examination will take place on June 6, 7, and 8.

Eligibility-

The CSIR-UGC Net is a national-level exam conducted to select eligible candidates for JRF and LS in various fields such as Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The eligibility criteria vary depending on the subject chosen by a candidate. Candidates who have completed or are pursuing their Master’s degree with a minimum aggregate score can apply for this exam. The syllabus includes topics from graduation and post-graduation levels.

The exam consists of two papers – Paper I tests general aptitude while Paper II tests subject-specific knowledge.

To apply for the examination, candidates need to visit the official site of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in, click on the CSIR UGC NET Exam link available on the home page, enter login details, fill in the application form, make payment of application fees, and submit their application.
