The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has started the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Common Offer Acceptance Portal (GATE CoAP) 2023 on March 18, 2023. COAP is the Common Offer Acceptance Portal for candidates who have qualified in GATE 2023. Candidates who have qualified for GATE 2023 can register themselves on the official website of GATE COAP at coap.iitkgp.ac.in. 

COAP is a common platform on which all the participating IITs will publish admission offer letters in the common time window. The first round of seat allotment will be declared on May 20, followed by a second round on May 27, a third on June 3, a fourth-round on June 10, and the last round on June 17. Additional rounds can be conducted on June 23 and June 28, and then on July 3, 8, and 14.

Candidates will be required to upload their valid scorecard for GATE to continue with further procedures. The candidates will be able to check the seat allotted to them and accept, retain, or reject it. 

How to register –

To register on the GATE COAP portal, candidates need to follow these steps:

• Visit the official website of GATE COAP at coap.iitkgp.ac.in.
• Click on the “Registration” link on the homepage.
• Enter your personal details such as name, email ID, mobile number, etc.
• Create a password and enter it in the required field.

Click on the ‘submit’ button to complete your registration
