NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the only national-level undergraduate medical entrance exam in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET exam every year in pen-paper mode. NEET 2023 application form has been released on March 6, 2023, and candidates can fill out the application form till April 6, 2023 (up to 9 PM). The NEET UG 2023 exam will be held on May 7, 2023.

To apply for NEET UG 2023, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by NTA. Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2023. The lower age limit for candidates is 17 years plus as on December 31, 2023. There is no upper age limit for candidates. Candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.

Candidates can fill out the NEET UG application form online at neet.nta.nic.in. Before filling out the application form, candidates are advised to read the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA Website carefully. Candidates must upload scanned images of their photograph and signature while filling out the application form. The application fee for General/OBC category candidates is INR1500/- while it is INR 800/- for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category candidates.
