World Bicycle Day is celebrated on 3rd June. The day’s aim is to spread awareness among people about the benefits of running a bicycle. 

A bicycle is a simple, clean, affordable and environment friendly mode of transportation. In 2018, the United Nations passed a resolution in the United Nations General Assembly during its 72nd regular session and  The adoption was made by more than 193 states and people in regional and international areas to adopt the bicycle. It encourages people to use Bicycles to reduce health problems such as diabetes , heart disease and reduce fat. Bicycles provide flexibility in the body. Its significant role is to keep the body fit. 

Bicycles is the basic transportation. It saves the environment from pollution. Cycle reduces noise pollution, air transportation and protects green spaces. In the Netherlands, Japan, Norway and some other countries, bicycles are considered as the main mode of transport. Bicycle also increase the strength of the body.
