Anxiety is born out of stress that one faces in life. Stress can be good or bad which are named positive stress and negative stress. And anxiety turns out to be the companion for both. It is a fear or negative comprehension of a situation.

The American Psychological Association (APA) defines anxiety as “an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts and physical changes like increased blood pressure.”

Feeling anxiety is normal and is required for survival and cannot be believed otherwise. Since the existence of humankind, the approach of predators and their savagery had always alarmed anxiety in the victim. The noticeable alarming nature at such an instance is as follows :

Such symptoms are to be considered when it’s no more anxiety but an anxiety disorder. The APA defines a person with an anxiety disorder are as follows :

“Having recurring intrusive thoughts or concerns.”

The stage of anxiety shifting manually to a disorder can be unrecognizable, once detected – it’s better to be treated.

GAD or Generalized Anxiety Disorder is just one among the other existing Anxiety disorders. Other Anxiety disorders are as follows :

  • Social anxiety
  • Phobias
  • Post – traumatic stress disorder
  • Obsessive – compulsive disorder

A person can tend to experience one or more anxiety disorders at the same time. Such disorders can accompany many other mental health conditions or problems such as bipolar disorder or depression.

Even if you feel anxious to consult a doctor as well – you could always try some at home anxiety healing methods or treatments. Even though it doesn’t guarantee to heal you fully or sometimes in certain conditions it does – it will definitely help you feel better.

  • EXERCISING IS THE KEY

Exercising can do magic, especially when you are dealing with some mental health issues. Working towards keeping yourself fit physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally is the first initiative you could always choose. Start off with some primary activities and later you could keep on adding activities to your daily routine. Consuming alcohol or recreational drugs can increase the range of anxiety you face. These items might seem tempting and appealing, yet alcohol and recreational drugs should be avoided no matter what. Nicotine in cigarettes and caffeinated beverages have the chance to make anxiety worse.

Support from your near and dear ones in such circumstances can make the process really effortless. Isolating yourself won’t work, rather go ahead and socialize.
