TVS Radeon BS6 launched in India

The new BS6 TVS Radeon motorcycle has been launched in India and its initial price is kept at Rs 58, 992. Thus, its price is about 6,000 rupees more than the previous BS4 model. Three variants of the new BS6 TVS Radeon have been launched. Apart from the base trim, the other two variants are special edition models, which TVS is calling ‘commuter bike of the year‘.
Talking about special edition models, they are priced at Rs 61,992 and 64,992 for drum and disc variants respectively. All the technical specifications of BS6 TVS Radeon have also shared by TVS. The new models also get power from the previous 109.7cc engine, which is BS6 compatible. The updated engine now gets 8.08hp power and 8.7Nm torque output.
Power output is reduced by 0.12hp in the new engine but torque is the same as before. According to the company, after the BS6 upgrade, there will be less fuel cost but fuel savings of up to 15 percent. The fuel injection system has now been given in the engine. Talking of gearbox, it has four-speed units as before. The price quoted by the company is the price of an ex-showroom in New Delhi.
Drum and Disk Brake Option Available
The braking system of BS6 TVS Radeon, it has 130mm drum brakes, while the other disc option also has 240 mm disc brakes in the front. Talking about body dimensions, BS6 TVS Radeon comes with 2025 mm x 705 mm x 1080 mm size. The disc variant weighs two kilograms more than the drum variant weighing 116 kg.
