Tata Motors launched Tata Tiago and Tigor in CNG Variant; Check Prices and Specs

Today on January 19, India’s leading automobile brand, Tata motors launched iCNG powered vehicles Tata Tiago and Tigor in the market to offer a delightful customer experience with incredible performance, best in class safety and an impressive array of features including segment-first technologies and promising hassle-free ownership.

The new Tiago iCNG and Tigor iCNG are powered by the Revotron 1.2L BS6 engine which produces a maximum power of 73PS. The iCNG Tata cars come in with best-in-class technology and features,  deliver optimum performance and seamless shifting of fuel modes from Petrol to CNG and vice versa, providing a better experience for their customers.

 Adding to the current colour palette, the company has also introduced an interesting new Midnight Plum in the Tiago and a Magnetic Red in the Tigor. Both these cars will come with a warranty of 2 years or 75,000 kms, whichever is earlier, as a standard option for all customers.

Tata Tiago CNG

The Tata Tiago CNG has the same appearance as the conventional fuel variant. The only difference is the hatchback’s factory-installed CNG kit, which works with the 1.2-litre Revotron engine. The engine has a power output of 73 PS. It has a ground clearance of 165 mm.

The car is equipped with projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and chrome grille trim. Harman’s touchscreen infotainment system is installed in the interior. The Tata Tiago CNG will come in five colours and four trim levels, Midnight Plum, Arizona Blue, Opal White, Flame Red, and Daytona Grey and XE, XM, XT, and XZ+ levels.

Tata Tigor CNG

With the addition of the CNG variant, the Tata Tigor becomes India’s first automobile to offer petrol, all-electric, and CNG options.

The Tigor CNG, like the Tiago CNG, comes with a factory-installed CNG kit that works in conjunction with the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine. This engine is also said to produce 73PS.

Automatic headlights, a dual-tone roof, rain-sensing wipers, and other features are available on the Tata Tigor CNG. Automatic climate control, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system and other features are available inside the interior. The Tata Tigor CNG comes in four different colours Magnetic Red, Arizona Blue, Opal White, Daytona Grey, and Deep Red and two separate models, the XZ and XZ+.
