OnePlus 9RT with 50-Megapixel Triple Cameras Launched in India: Available on sale from January 17

On January 14, the OnePlus 9RT was unveiled in India at the company’s Winter Edition Launch event. The company’s latest addition to the OnePlus 9 series arrives only days after the debut of the company’s next-generation OnePlus 10 smartphone in China. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC powers the OnePlus 9RT, which also features a 50-megapixel triple rear camera.
The OnePlus 9RT will be available in two colour options: Hacker Black and Nano Silver, and will be sold through Amazon, the company’s official website, and retail locations. The smartphone will go on sale on January 17 at 12 p.m. IST as part of the company’s Great Indian Republic Day sale.
The OnePlus 9RT costs Rs. 42,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage model and Rs. 46,999 for the 12GB +256GB storage model in India.
OnePlus 9RT Specifications
The OnePlus 9RT is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Android 11 with the OnePlus’ OxygenOS 11 layer on top. The OnePlus 9RT is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage. OnePlus claims that the new OnePlus 9RT comes with the company’s “Space Cooling” technology and a larger heat sink for greater heat dissipation and improved performance.
The OnePlus 9RT has a 6.62-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The OnePlus 9RT has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera with an f/1.8 lens as part of its triple rear camera arrangement. The main camera has optical image stabilisation (OIS) and can capture video in 4K at 60 frames per second. The OnePlus 9RT has a 16-megapixel camera Sony IMX471 selfie camera.
The OnePlus 9RT is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W rapid charging over USB Type-C. The phone has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity, as well as GPS/ A-GPS and NFC.
