The KUV100 NXT is the latest model from domestic car maker Mahindra, which the company has upgraded to conform to the new BS6 emission standards. The company has officially announced its prices. The starting price of the new Mahindra KUV100 is Rs 5.54 lakh which goes up to Rs 7.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The 2020 Mahindra KUV100 NXT now comes with the mFalcon G80 petrol engine by BS6 standards and is available in four variants – K2 +, K4 +, K6 + and K8. The entry-level K2 variant has been discontinued and its prices have been increased by up to Rs 65,000 over the BS4 petrol model.

Talking about power specifications, 2020 Mahindra KUV100 NXT has BS6 mFalcon G80 1.2, a three-cylinder petrol engine that generates 82 bhp power at 5500 rpm and 115 Nm torque at 3500-3600 rpm. This engine comes with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox. Currently, the company is also working on a pure electric Mahindra EKUV100.

Talking about design and styling, there is no change in the BS6 KUV100 NXT. It comes in 5-seater and 6-seater cabin layout options only. Along with this, the company has given LED DRLs, 15-inch alloy wheels, double-barreled tail lamps, and dual-tone exterior color options with dual-chamber headlamps as features. Talking about cabin features, the company has given a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear parking camera, keyless entry, tilt-adjustable power steering, front and rear armrests, and cooled glove box, etc.

If we see the safety features, the BS6 KUV100 has dual airbags, EBD with ABS, rear parking sensors, and speed alert standards. However, the car also has an option for speed sensing door locks, panic braking, and automatic opening warning lamps, anti-theft alarm, and ISOFIX child seat mounts for bonnet opening.
