Kaif’s Son Said – Easy to Hit on Shoaib Akhtar’s Ball

Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is known for his bowling in cricket history. He was in his best form at the 2003 World Cup. But, Kabir, the son of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif, called Shoaib’s ball too easy. Kabir said that Shoaib’s ball was very fast, so it is very easy for the batsman to hit. The Pakistani bowler jokingly said that there should be a match between my son Mikail and Kabir.

Old matches are being shown on TV channels amid the lockdown till April 14 due to coronavirus in the country. Seeing one such match, Kaif’s son Kabir said this. Kaif shared a video of it and tweeted “Thanks to Star Sports India, finally Kabir gets to relive that historic IND vs PAK game. But junior isn’t too impressed with Papa, says hitting Sohaib must be easy since there is pace in his bowling. Kids today I tell you…phew!

To this, Akhtar replied, “Toh phir @MohammadKaif match ho jaaye Kabir aur Mikael Ali Akhtar ka?

He’ll get his answers about Pace. Haha. Give him my love.”Mikail is the name of Shoaib’s son.

India defeated Pakistan in World Cup 2003

The World Cup match was played at Centurion on 1 March 2003 between India and Pakistan. In the match, Team India won 6 wickets with 26 balls remaining where Pakistan scored 273 for 7 wickets in 50 overs. In response, India scored 276 for 4 wickets in 45.4 overs. Sachin Tendulkar scored 98 for the team, Yuvraj Singh 50, Rahul Dravid 44 and Mohammad Kaif scored 35 runs. There was a 102-run partnership between Sachin and Kaif. Akhtar took Sachin’s wicket only. He scored 72 runs in 10 overs.
