Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has surprised his fans by announcing to resign from the captaincy of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). This information was given by RCB via a Tweet on Sunday. Kohli will be seen as RCB captain for the last time in IPL-2021.
Virat Kohli said, “This will be my last IPL as captain of RCB. I’ll continue to be an RCB player till I play my last IPL game. I thank all the RCB fans for believing in me and supporting me.”: Virat Kohli

On September 16, Virat Kohli announced that he would quit the captaincy of Team India in the T20 format. He informed through his social media account that he will no longer be the captain of Team India in the T20 format after the World Cup.
