IPL 2020 Updates: Royals’ second-biggest win against Chennai in IPL, RR Beat CSK by 16 Run

In the fourth match of the 13th season of Dream 11 IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 16 runs. In the match in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, the Royals gave up a huge target of 217 runs. In response, Chennai lost 6 wickets and managed to score only 200 runs. This is the Royals’ second-biggest win in the IPL against Chennai. Samson scored 74 off 32 balls. At the same time, Tewatia knocked out three players.

This is the highest IPL score in the United Arab Emirates. Earlier on 18 April, 2014 Kings XI Punjab scored 206 runs against Chennai.

Royals captain Steve Smith scored 69 runs. Smith finished 9th in the league and Sanju Samson finished 11th. Samson also became the 8th player to score a fifty off 19 balls. The last over of the first inning was a turning point, with Archer scoring 27 runs and Finally, Jofra Archer, who came in to bat at 9th position, scored 27 off 8 balls. If the last over had not been so expensive, the outcome of the match might have been something else. For Chennai, Sam Curran took 3 wickets, and Deepak Chahar, L Ngidi, and Piyush Chawla took 1-1.
