Indian Authorities have permitted restarting the operation of BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India). In July Last year, the government banned  BGMI games because of Security and Privacy issues. After which BGMI was missing from Google and Apple Play Store. 

On getting permission on relaunching, Korean Publisher Krafton said that “We are extremely grateful to the Indian authorities for allowing Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) to resume operations. BGMI will be back initially for 3 months for the trial period.

 The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology monitors the activity and ensures that it does not violate any rules and regulations that are passed by the Government. The game is returning with several adjustments like time limit and number of hours one could play. The color of blood in the game will be changed to green or blue. 

After the PUBG ban, BGMI was launched for Indian gamers. After the BGMI launched it crossed the figure of 100 millions games users in one year.
