Famous singer KK Dies after performing live at Kolkata; Internet poured with mourning messages

Famous Singer KK Death: Singer KK died on Tuesday, May 31 at the age of 53. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead. He fell ill while performing at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata, for Gurudas College’s fest.
After returning to his hotel, he was taken to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) at around 10:30 pm, where doctors declared him dead. He was 53.
After his untimely death, condolences have been pouring in from the music and film industry. PM Narendra Modi too shared heartfelt condolence on Twitter. He tweeted,” Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti”
Akshay Kumar shared his condolence, “Extremely sad and shocked to know of the sad demise of KK. What a loss! Om Shanti
West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee also shared her condolence on KK’s death. “The sudden and untimely demise of the Bollywood playback singer KK shocks and saddens us. My colleagues have been working from last night to ensure that all requisite support is given for necessary formalities, his rites and to his family now. My deep condolences”, mentioned CM Mamta Banerjee.
His post-mortem is likely to take place today. The musician is survived by his wife and two kids.
