COVID-19 India lockdown 2.0: 7 Steps PM Modi asked Citizens to Follow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced the extension of the lockdown period till 3 May. Prime minister also thanked all the citizens of India for adhering to the lockdown rules and said that the extension of the lockdown is important to completely limit the spread of the virus and restrain new hotspots.

PM Modi urged citizens of India to follow the 7 rules during an extended lockdown period to completely eradicate the coronavirus.

1.Take care of the elderly

Take extra care of elderly people who are ill or have a chronic disease. Protect them from coronavirus.

2. Follow social distancing

Stick to the lockdown rules completely and follow social distancing. It is also advisable to wear a homemade face cover and mask before going out of the house.

3. Follow advisory Of AYUSH health ministry to improve immunity

Follow the instruction given by the Ministry of AYUSH to increase immunity such as drinking warm water, taking steam, turmeric milk and kadha.

4. Download ArogyaSetu App

The government is urging to download the AarogyaSetu application to monitor the situation better as the app uses location data of individuals and helps in tracing contacts.

5. Take care of the poor

Help the poor and needy people who are facing financial problems during the COVID-19 crisis. Try to fulfill their food requirements.

6. Take care of employees don’t fire them

As the corporates and businesses have to cease their operations during the nationwide lockdown. Prime Minister Modi has appealed to all employers across the nation to show compassion towards employees and not remove them from their jobs.

7. Pay respect to CORONA Warriors

Pay respect to frontline workers doctors, nurses, police force and sanitation workers and honor them for their work.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the people of the nation to come together and support in the fight against corona.
