Coronavirus Help: Hero MotoCorp deliver 60 mobile ambulances across the country

Hero MotoCorp has donated 60 custom-built two-wheeler ambulances across India. These two-wheelers ambulances will act as the first responders and be handed over to the concerned authorities in the country. These utilitarian mobile ambulances will be useful for reaching patients in rural and remote areas and transporting them to nearby hospitals. These ambulances have been custom-built on Hero MotoCorp motorcycles with a displacement of 150cc and above. In addition, these ambulance items include first aid kits, oxygen cylinders, fire extinguishers and essential medical equipment such as sirens.

The Hero Group, which also includes Hero MotoCorp, has pledged Rs 100 crore for relief. Half of this amount will be given as a contribution to the recently created PM-Care Fund and the remaining 50 crores will be spent in other relief efforts. This includes delivering modified motorcycles and two-wheelers in urban areas, distributing masks, sanitizers, gloves, and 100 ventilators, and distributing 15,000 meals to employees working on daily basis, including stranded laborers and homeless families.
