Germany’s well-known luxury carmaker BMW has officially announced the launch of the new BMW M8 Coupe and BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe in the Indian market. Both of these BMW cars will go on sale from May 8, 2020. The company listed both these flagship models on its official website and has ensured that both these cars are coming to India. Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, both cars are launched in a virtual way. The new BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe and the new M8 Coupe will be sold through the company’s recently launched contactless experience platform.

The new 8 Series line-up will be the top model included range in BMW’s portfolio that will be placed above the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe in the Indian market. The new BMW 8 Series will come in two variant options, the first 840i Gran Coupe and the second M8 Coupe. Both these models will be equipped with great features and will also get optional packages. Apart from this, the company can also offer additional driver packages and customization options for the M8 Coupe.

Internationally, the BMW 8 Series is available in three body style Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe. Speaking of the price, the price of the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe is around 1.2 million to 1.5 crore rupees.

Power and specification

In terms of power and specification, the BMW 840i Gran Coupe has given a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbo engine that generates 335 Hp of power at 5000 to 6500 Rpm and 500 Nm of torque at 1600 to 4500 Rpm. Does. On the other hand, this engine will be equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Apart from this, the M8 Coupe will be powered by a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine that generates 625 Hp power and 750 Nm of torque.
