This is a 10-day long event usually taking place in the month of November consisting of art, culture, tradition and cuisines. This is a good way to experience the vibes of Lucknow in a short span of time that too in a synchronized way. It is organised jointly by the Lucknow District Administration and Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. The Mahotsav provides an opportunity for local Craftsmen and artisans to showcase their talent along with inviting celebrities to perform on the stage. There are many food stalls arranged in the Mahotsav which provide all types of the famous food of Lucknow. Kathak performances, Qawalis and Musical performances are the showstoppers of this colourful Mahotsav.
