Benelli Leoncino 250 launched in India, price 2.5 lakh rupees

Benelli India has launched its new neo-retro motorcycle Benelli Leoncino 250. The company has priced it at Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The new Leoncino 250 is a smaller bike compared to the Leoncino 500, which was launched a few months ago. Customers can book the new Benelli Leoncino 250 at any official Benelli dealership for a fully refundable token amount of Rs 6,000. It is available in four colour options – White, Gray, Red and Brown.

During the launch of the Benelli Leoncino 250, Vikas Jhabakh, MD, Benelli India stated, “The Leoncino 250 expresses its style. The Leoncino 250 is a classic motorcycle incorporating traditional and innovation redesigned with modern elements. And it will prove to be an equal partner for the city and the long route. With the launch of the Leoncino 250, we are entering an affordable superbike segment and there is a lot of market share in India. At present we are at substantial sales and good support due to our Loyal customers.

Specs

If we talk about power specifications then, Benelli Leoncino has a 249 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that generates 25.4 bhp power at 9,250 rpm and 21Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox.

Design

The bike has a similar design as of its big brother Leoncino 500. The bike has a blacked-out engine and radiator with steel tube trellis frame. Apart from this, the bike has a large black and silver muffler, single-piece seat and a fully digital instrument console and also signature laser-cut lion have been given on the front mudguard of the new Leonicino 250 motorcycle.
