After its establishment in the year 2000, Jharkhand focused on promoting tourism and look after the culture and heritage of the state to be a travel destination. Ranchi is the state capital of Jharkhand. The city is enriched with beautiful waterfalls, temples, hills, parks, dams, and many other places. The city is the fourth largest city in India in terms of area. Ranchi is also one of the hundred cities that are selected to be in the smart city mission.

Hazaribagh is another major tourist city in Jharkhand. The place is known for Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary. It is located at the elevation 610m. The lakes and greenery make this place interesting for tourists’.

Located at an altitude of 615m, the park was established in the year 1955. It is a home to sambar, sloth bears, black bears, nilgai, chital, peafowl, hyenas, and pigeons.
