Every year on 7th April the World Health Organization (WHO) celebrates World Health Day. World health day highlights the importance of global health and creates awareness of a specific health theme every year. In 1950, the WHO celebrated the first world health day. The WHO organizes international, and national events on the Day related to a particular theme. World Health Day is accepted by both governments and non-governmental organizations with an interest in public health issues.
