WhatsApp –the most used messaging app is now can also be used for sending money to your loved ones. People all over India are now capable to send money through WhatsApp.

This new feature of WhatsApp payment is designed in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) using the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). To send money on WhatsApp, a user must have a bank account, debit card in India, and UPI supported app. WhatsApp payment option has a strong set of security and privacy principles like any other feature of WhatsApp. The payment over WhatsApp includes entering a personal UPI PIN for each payment. WhatsApp payment option is available on the latest version of the iPhone and android app.
