The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Exam 2023 on April 19, 2023 to fill 1261 posts of Medical Officers at various government hospitals. The application process is completely online and no other mode of application is accepted. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form from April 19, 2023, to May 9, 2023.

Eligibility for UPSC CMS 2023 exam

To be eligible for the UPSC CMS 2023 exam, candidates must have an MBBS degree and have passed the written and practical parts of the final examination of Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB). Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as of August 1, 2023. The eligibility criteria for UPSC CMS 2023 also include the nationality of the candidate.

UPSC CMS 2023 exam form fee-

The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs. 200 while there is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD and female candidates.
