University College Dublin is a research university in Belfield, Ireland. Also referred to as UCD, it is a member institution of the National University of Ireland. Originally founded as a part of some other body in 1854, it got its own right in 1908. Earlier known as the Catholic University of Ireland, it is the largest university in Ireland. The university constitutes about 6 colleges, few research centers, and schools.

The National University of Ireland is located in Galway, Ireland. It is also known as NUI Galway. This reputed university is counted in the top 1% of the university in QS World University Rankings in 2018. It has also received full five QS stars for excellence. It was earlier known as Queen’s College Galway and University College Galway. The four colleges providing education to the undergraduates and postgraduate students are the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies, College of Science and Engineering, College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, and College of Business, Public Policy, and Law.

It was founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592. It is one of the 7 ancient universities of Ireland and Britain. Trinity College is also Ireland’s oldest surviving university. The college is acclaimed in the fields of Literature, Law, and Humanities. It is also the sister college to Oriel College, Oxford, and St John’s College, Cambridge. Dublin City University also referred to as DCU is an education institute located on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. In 1975. It was originally founded as the National Institute for Higher Education. It was elevated to university status in 1989. DCU also has four other educational institutions incorporated in it that provide education in Ireland are All Hallows College, St Patrick’s College, Mater Dei Institute of Education, and the Church of Ireland College of Education. The five-campus of DCU is The main campus, All Hallows campus, DCU Alpha Innovation Campus, Sports campus (St Clare’s), and St Patrick’s campus in Drumcondra.

National College of Ireland also abbreviated as NCI is a non-profit, state-aided 3rd-level education institution in the city of Dublin. In 1951, it was founded as a Jesuit venture along with Trade Unions. Now an autonomous college, this college provides full and part-time courses from the postgraduate level and undergraduate level. It specializes in offering education in finance, psychology, digital marketing, finance, business, cloud computing, data analytics, human resource management, computing, management, fintech, accountancy, education, and cybersecurity. The main campus of IFSC is in Dublin.

Dublin Business School also abbreviated as DBS is a public college in the city of Dublin. It incorporates Portobello College and is one of the 2 largest independent colleges in Ireland. DBS offers a range of part-time and full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It is commonly known as Maynooth University or MU and serves as a constituent university of the National University of Ireland. Homing MU in its area Maynooth is the only university town in Ireland. MU is a combination of two campuses southern campus and northern campus. It was also ranked by QS World University Rankings in the 701–750 bracket in the year 2019. 10. Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland

The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland also abbreviated as RCSI is located in Dublin, Ureaknd. It is responsible for the medical specialty of surgery in the whole of Ireland. It provides undergraduate degrees in   Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, and Medicine disciplines. The faculties of RCSI are the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Physiotherapy, School of Postgraduate Studies, Faculty of Radiologists, Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and RCSI Institute of Leadership.
