Huma Qureshi’s upcoming biopic film ‘Tarla’ trailer has been released. The film is based on the life of food writer, chef, and cookbook author Tarla Dalal. Huma is playing the character of Tarla Dalal.

Sharib and Huma are in the role of husband and wife. The story of Tarla begins with their marriage. In 12 years of their marriage life, Huma constantly had this in mind that she has to do something, but what, she doesn’t know. But one day she realizes her love for cooking and decides to give cooking classes. This is how her cooking journey begins.

Apart from Huma Qureshi and Sharib Hashmi, actors like Bharti Achrekar, Amarjeet Singh, and  Rajeev Pandey will be seen. This film is directed by Piyush Gupta, while Ronnie Skoorwala, Ashwini Iyer, and Nitesh Tiwari produced the film ‘Tarla’. The film is releasing on July 7 on the OTT platform Zee5.

Tarla Dalal is an Indian food writer, chef, cookbook author and cooking show host. She was the first Indian to be awarded the Padma Shri for cooking in 2007.
