										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="has-medium-font-size">In a bid to address the growing concerns surrounding mental health, a seminar on &#8220;Stress and its Management&#8221; was conducted by the Hisar Institute of Digital Marketing. The seminar’s keynote speaker was Dr. Archana Sharma, Clinical Psychologist and Director of MindQuest. The insightful seminar aimed to equip students with strategies to effectively manage stress in their daily lives.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Er Manmohan Singla, Director <a href="http://hidm.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">HiDM</a> extended a warm welcome to all participants and introduced the esteemed keynote speaker.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">During her address, Ms Archana Sharma explained the various kinds of stress that teenagers face. The importance of stress management strategies and the capacity to view stress as either positive or negative explained by the speaker. To properly handle stress, she emphasized the significance of externalising emotions and seeking help. In an interactive session, participants asked questions, got helpful insights into coping strategies, and sought answers.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Obesity</strong> is a body disorder in which fats gets accumulated under the human body. It increases the risk of diseases and health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. In a recent study it is observed that when BMI (<strong>Body Mass Index)</strong> fat mass of a person increases, the risk of heart issues also increases. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Here are some ways in which obesity contributes to heart disease – and what you can do to take control of your health and combat not only obesity but heart disease too!</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">It can cause <strong>a rise in your blood pressure level.</strong> The individuals who are obese require more blood to supply oxygen and nutrients to their bodies which causes an increase in blood pressure. Increase in blood pressure is a common cause of heart attack.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Obesity can change your <strong>cholesterol levels</strong>. It lowers good high-density lipoproteins (HDL) cholesterol.  HDL cholesterol is important for removing bad cholesterol and working to reduce the risk of heart disease. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">It can also lead to <strong><em>Diabetes</em></strong><em>.</em> According to the American Heart Association, at least 68 percent of people aged 65 or older with diabetes also have heart disease. Thus Diabetes is also one of the major factors of Heart-related problems. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong><em>To reduce the risk of Heart disease,</em></strong><em> </em>a person should be fit and fine with no extra fats in the body. A person can follow some steps to lower the weight can be:</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><em><strong>Have a nutritious and healthy diet plan.</strong></em> Obese people should restrict eating fast food and oily substances. Few foods that may help you achieve your weight loss goals are Oats, Green Leafy Vegetables, Grilled Chicken, Cottage Cheese, Eggs, Tofu, Peas, Flaxseeds, Chia Seeds.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Include at least 6-7 <em><strong>servings of fresh fruits and vegetables</strong></em> in a day’s diet and a serving of green leafy vegetable daily </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"><em><strong>Decrease salt and sugar intake.</strong></em></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"><em><strong>Stress </strong></em>can have also many effects on the body and mind. Stress leads to change in eating patterns and person started craving for High- calorie foods. Eating too many high-calorie foods can contribute to the risk of Heart Diseases. Hence always keep the stress away from you.</p>

<p><strong>Dr. Archana</strong> told the various factors that influence an individual learning process are <strong>intelligence level, learning disabilities, attention and concentration level, fear and phobias related to studies, exam anxieties, stress, psychological disorders, home environment, </strong>etc. A teacher must know all the factors as every individual have a different influencing factor. After knowing the factors they can guide parents or send children to a clinical psychologist for proper diagnosis and treatment of their children. According to clinical psychologist, <strong>Early diagnosis, early recognition and timely intervention of these factors can help a student to improve his/her performance in school and in learning.</strong> It can reduce the chances of any mental illness in child and adolescent. There are some psychological tests too which can be administered or used for proper diagnosis of these problems.</p>

Monitoring of blood pressure on regular basis is very crucial as it will affect
heart, arteries and other organs. If remain uncontrolled, it can lead to death
also. </p>



<p><strong>Blood pressure is the act of blood pushing against the walls of arteries. </strong>High blood pressure is diagnosed when it remains elevated for extended periods of time. High blood pressure can cause damage to our heart and arteries, which can lead to heart disease, stroke and other major complications.</p>



<p>High Blood pressure gives some symptoms which everyone
should know:</p>



<p><strong>Dizziness, headaches, nose bleeding, poor vision, breathing difficulty, chest pain</strong> etc. If anyone faces these symptoms, he/ she should immediately consult the cardiologist to reduce the severe effect. </p>

a slight change in our day to day life which is not favorable causes a tension
in mind and pain in body, known as Stress. Stress is a common term in today’s
competitive life where everyone is running for their bread and butter. When
needs and wants are high, stress level increases. Children, teenagers, adult
and mature people all are facing stress due to one or more reasons. Different
age level have different stressors like children are stressed due to burden of
study, teenagers are stressed for their future, adults to earn better and
matured ones are due to their health, family etc. </p>



<p>What basically stress is? Stress is psychological,
physiological and behavioral response of a person when they lack balance
between the line of need and achieve. It is that state of mind that affects a
person’s thinking ability, mental peace, growth, development, working ability
and it is referred to silent killer as it can also cause heart attack, blood
pressure issues, chest pain, weight gain, hair loss and many more.</p>



<p>That’s why it is very crucial to manage the level of stress
before it becomes untreatable or lethal for anyone. There can be many
techniques which one can follow to bust their stress.</p>



<p>First of all, a person should be aware of the sources of stress known as Stressors. Root cause of the problem must be known to us, only then we can cure it. Sources can be any of our habit, attitude, workplace, relationships etc. </p>

<p>One should understand that we can’t control each and every
situation that comes to us. So the event that is unfavorable to us, we should
accept it positively. Positive thinking will not change the situation but it
can change our perception towards it. Anything that happens, happens for good
is the best positive phrase everyone should remember.</p>



<p><strong><em>Communicate:</em></strong> Communicate with self and with others is also one of the stress busters. Half of the people are stressed because they are not able to express their views, ideas and opinions. When we express ourselves to others, we feel relaxed. Getting other’s point of view will help in coping with changed situation. </p>

<p><em><strong>Doing exercise </strong></em>daily can also reduce the level of stress as it is effective as antidepressants. Walking is also a good exercise to improve or maintain healthy mind and body.</p>

<p><strong><em>Balanced and healthy diet</em></strong> that is full of nutrients and minerals help in reducing stress as lot of energy is waste when a person is suffering from stress issues. </p>



<p><strong><em>Deep breathing, meditation, yoga </em></strong>and <strong><em>music</em></strong> therapy are some practices that can help in alleviating stress.</p>

<p>Sleep of 6 to 8 hours is vital for every individual. Don’t
suppress sleeping hours due to work and relationships as this increases the
stress level and affects one’s working ability.</p>



<p>Cut the usage of alcohol, drugs and other medications to
reduce stress. </p>



<p>Things that are organized and maintained are better than unorganized one. So, try to manage the things in time. <strong><em>Time management</em></strong> is crucial for every one as time stops for none and when it is gone, it is gone. That’s why, there will be no sense of crying on past time, give your career, relationship, business a new start.</p>
