The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL 2023 official notification on its official website ssc.nic.in. Candidates who want to appear in the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 exam can register online through the official website of SSC. The SSC CGL 2023 registration process has begun on April 3, 2023. It will be a Computer-based examination consisting of two tiers: Tier 1 and Tier 2.

Age limit for SSC CGL 2023 exam–

The age limit differs from post to post and can be 18-27, 18-30, 18-32, and 20-30 years, while for notified reserved categories, the upper age limit is relaxed.

SSC CGL 2023 exam Fee–

The SSC CGL 2023 application fee is Rs 100, but women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) category candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.

SSC CGL 2023 exam schedule-

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted in July 2023. The questions in the Tier 1 exam will be about general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension.  Each incorrect answer will be penalized with 0.50.    

Tier-I will consist of multiple-choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension. Candidates qualifying for the Tier 1 exam will be eligible for the Tier 2 examination.
