Sony Company through its Playstation India Twitter account announced that it is going to launch PS5 in India on February 2 and pre-orders for Playstation 5 shall begin from January 12, 2021.

The pre-orders will be taken until stocks last at the respective retailer. Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Games The Shop, Shop at Sony center are some of the retail partners.

In another tweet, the company revealed the price of PS5 prior to launch. The standard edition with a disk drive will be available at Rs. 49,990 and the Digital Edition of the PS5 at Rs. 39,990.

Playstation 5 was originally launched in selected countries on November 12 and supposed to launch in India on November 19, 2020, but this didn’t happen due to some certification and stock issues.
