In the rehabilitation of mentally retarded females, Shaishav kunj Mandbuddhi Mahila Ashram at Kaimri Road is playing a dominant role. Recently, a mentally upset woman, named Mamta left at the Shaishav kunj Mandbuddhi Mahila Ashram by Narnaud police. The woman was unable to remember her address and any other information.

Shaishav kunj Mandbuddhi Mahila Ashram took care of her, consult to Dr. Aditi Popli, CMC Hospital and under her examination, in a few days Mamta got recovered. She was handed over to her family member on Feb 21.

Smt. Pankaj Sandhir, Patron, Shaishav kunj Mandbuddhi Mahila Ashram, told, “ Mamta came to Ashram on Feb 2. Her condition was not stable, not eating anything and also not abled to remember about her family. We took care of her, consult Dr. Aditi Popli and with due care and medications, she memorized her husband and address. We called her husband and handed Mamta to him.

Shaishav Mandbuddhi Mahila Ashram’s Director Vijay Bhrigu informed,” This Ashram is working for mentally retarded females. At present, 20 females are there in the ashram and 6 have been discharged after getting treatment. We work for the rehabilitation of women and provide them care, shelter and medicines.
