The much-awaited film on former Indian Cricketer Mithali Raj, Shabaash Mithu trailer got released today. Taapsee Pannu is playing the role of Mithali Raj and she looks promising in the role. Shabaash Mithu is a story of rising a woman cricketer, who redefined the gentlemen’s game.

In the 2:44 secs Shabaash Mithu trailer, Taapsee Pannu as Mithali can be seen fighting the odds of society and proving her mettle. Mithali’s childhood is shown in the trailer where she mistakenly catches a ball hit by her elder brother. Her training begins when her talent is eventually noticed by the elders. The road to making women in blue team seems difficult as her fellow trainees abused her by saying  English Medium girl. The story takes an interesting turn when she opposed and demanded to have jerseys of their own name instead of male cricketers’ name.

Shabaash Mithu film is directed by Rahul Dholakia and written by Priya Aven records the cricketer Mithali Raj’s highs and lows, setbacks, and pivotal occasions. Shabaash Mithu will be out in theatres on July 15.
