The much-anticipated movie of Akshay Kumar based on the brother-sister love, Raksha Bandhan Trailer is out now. The trailer for Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan begins with the quote, “Sometimes being a brother is even bigger than being a superhero.”

In the trailer, Akshay Kumar is an epitome of a devoted brother. Along with Akshay Kumar, Bhumi pednekar,  Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth are in the movie. Akshay Kumar is seen dating Bhumi Pednekar, but he wants to marry her only after his sister’s wedding. In order to give her sisters a quality life, Akshay’s character works multiple folds. The film also addresses the issue of dowry in the society in which they live. The film is a complete family package, primarily based on the brother-sisterhood.

 The film has been directed by Aanand L Rai and jointly produced by Rai, Hiranandani and Zee Studios.  This is Akshay Kumar’s second project with the filmmaker after the 2021 film Atrangi Re, co-starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.

Raksha Bandhan movie will be releasing on August 11, 2022, and will clash with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office.
