Australian Open 2021: Serbia’s tennis star player Novak Djokovic has created history by winning the Australian Open Men singles title for a record 9th time. This is Novak Djokovic’s 18th Grand Slam title.

Djokovic appeared far ahead of his opponent Daniel Medvedev during the entire match and won the 18th Grand Slam title of his career by defeating Daniel Medvedev 7-5 6-2 6-2 in the final.

According to the tournament’s official website, ausopan.com, Djokovic defeated Medvedev 7-5, 6-2, and 6-2 in consecutive sets in a match that lasted for an hour and 53 minutes.

Djokovic had earlier defeated Dominic Theme of Austria in the final of the Australian Open in 2020. This is the ninth Australian Open of Djokovic’s career and the 18th Grand Slam title overall.
