Doctors are an indispensable part of their patient’s lives. National Doctors’ Day is an opportunity to honour doctors and appreciate their ability to comfort and heal patients. Sapra Multispecialty Hospital in Hisar celebrated Doctors Day with great zeal this year.

The hospital management organized a cake-cutting ceremony for the doctors and boasted about the doctor’s contribution to making Sapra Hospital one of the best hospitals in Hisar. All the doctors at the hospital were felicitated with mementoes and gifts for their invaluable contribution to patient care.

National Doctors’ Day is a day celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to the human community. In India, National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on July 1 all across India to honour the legendary physician and the second chief minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. He was born on July 1, 1882, and died on the same date in 1962, aged 80 years.
