Samsung has announced the Galaxy F55 5G’s India launch date. The announcement comes just after Samsung began teasing the Galaxy F55 in India. This Galaxy F-series smartphone will have vegan leather, a trend among mid-range phones. Samsung has also hinted at the price of the Galaxy F55 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G will come in two colour options: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black. The smartphone will feature a ‘Premium Vegan Leather Finish’ with a saddle stitch pattern at the back.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G specifications

• Display: The Galaxy F55 could feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and 1,000 nits peak brightness.
• Processor: The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.
• RAM and storage: It could be launched in two variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB, and 256GB storage options.
• Cameras: The Galaxy F55 5G might house a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there could be a 50MP selfie camera.
• Battery, charging: The smartphone is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

• Software: The Galaxy F55 5G is expected to run Android 14-based One UI 6.0.

• The Galaxy F55 5G India launch date has been set for May 17th. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 12 pm.
• The smartphone will be available via Flipkart, Samsung.com, and across select retail stores.

The Galaxy F55 5G is likely to be priced under Rs 30,000.But the exact price is not yet revealed.
