A complaint was filed against Myntra Logo in December 2020 by Naz Patel of NGO Avesta Foundation. The complaint was actually a demand that Myntra should remove its logo as it is quite offensive against women’s dignity. It resembles a naked woman.
Today, the E-commerce site Myntra has taken a big decision regarding its logo. After the case that has been registered with the Mumbai Cyber Police, the company decided to change its logo.
Avesta Foundation shared the news on its Twitter handle by mentioning, “Congratulations to our founder. She did it what apparently seemed impossible. Thank you everyone for your support. We’re overwhelmed by the response. Kudos to @myntra for addressing the concerns and respecting the sentiments of millions of women.
Mumbai Cyber Crime Department told that during the investigation we found that Myntra’s logo is an objection to women. An email was sent to Myntra Company after the complaint. His officers came and met us and they decided to change their logo. And today Myntra company has changed its logo on the website and mobile application. Along with this, the logo will also be changed on the packing material.
