Kia Carens unveiled in India; a three-row SUV for larger Families

On Thursday,  Kia Carens made its world premiere and after its official launch, it will become the fourth product from Kia after the Seltos, Carnival and Sonet. The three-row Carens from Kia India is designed to appeal to big families that still desire an SUV body style in a car. Kia India will manufacture Carens at the Kia plant in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantpur.

Kia Carens have the Tiger Nose grille that is found on many of its siblings. But there is a clear focus on a confluence of design elements that typically define a recreational vehicle and a conventional SUV. Large wheel arches, chrome garnish, straight lines and LED light technology define the outside.

According to Kia, Carens has the longest wheelbase among three-row SUVs in its segment, resulting in an additional interior room for passengers. On the car’s front fascia, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, an H-shaped humanity line with elegant chrome trim, and LED fog lamps to flank a massive grille with chrome accents are included.
