JEE MAIN 2021: New dates announced for pending sessions of the JEE (Main) 2021

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the new dates for the remaining sessions of JEE MAIN 2021 on July 6. He tweets, “There were some concerns among the students regarding #JEE(Main)-2021 Examination during Covid. Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji has always said that the safety, security, and bright future of our students should be the highest priorities of the Education Ministry.

The third edition of JEE main exams will now be held from July 20-25, while the fourth edition of the JEE main exam will be held from July 27-August 2. The new dates are announced in response to JEE Main pending exams that could not be held in April and May due to the second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

For the candidates who have not applied for JEE Mains April and May exams, another chance is given to candidates to apply to the third phase from July 6-8, while for the fourth phase of JEE main candidates can register from July 9-12.

Also, the number of cities has been increased from 232 to 334 and the number of examination centers will also be increased from 660 to 828.
