The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) released the application form for the IISER 2023 exam on April 15, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online at iiseradmission.in. The IISER 2023 exam is conducted for admission to the 5-year BS-MS program and the 4-year BS in Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences at IISER Bhopal.     

IISER 2023 last date of application form

The last day to apply for the IISER 2023 exam is May 25, 2023.

IISER 2023 Exam and result date

The IISER 2023 exam will be held on June 17, 2023, and the result will be out by July 3, 2023.

IISER 2023 Exam Pattern-

The IISER 2023 exam will consist of multiple-choice questions, and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours. The 60 questions will be based on subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. The IISER 2023 exam will be conducted in English.

IISER 2023 exam form fee

The application fee for the IISER 2023 exam is INR 2,000 for general and OBC candidates and INR 1,000 for SC/ST candidates and Rs 8,500 for foreign nationals. The fee can be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. After submitting the application form, candidates need to take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

IISER 2023 Eligibility Criteria:-

 ● Applicants must be Indian nationals or PIO or OCI in order to apply through KVPY or JEE (Advanced) or IAT channels. Candidates who are NOT Indian nationals or PIO or OCI can apply for admission only through the JEE (Advanced) channel.

● Candidates must have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) exam with science stream in 2022 or 2023 from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE.

● Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.

● Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD should have scored a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam. Candidates belonging to other categories should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam

Age limit for IISER 2023 Exam-

The age limit for the IISER 2023 exam is 22 years for general and OBC candidates and 27 years for SC/ST candidates. Candidates who have passed their 12th standard or equivalent examination in 2021 or 2022 are eligible to apply for the exam.

• Before filling out the application form, candidates are advised to read the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the IISER Website carefully.
• Candidates must upload scanned images of their photograph and signature while filling out the application form.
• Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
