Google launched “YouTube Learning Destination” to help students to learn from home

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the whole world is in lockdown due to which students are unable to attend schools.  So to overcome this situation, tech giant Google has launched a new feature called “YouTube Learning Destination” in order to facilitate students to learn online from home. In this feature, students can find relevant and high-quality learning content on YouTube which is created by the educational channels on YouTube.

Users can easily access YouTube learning Destination features via mobile as well as desktop. This information is released on the company’s official blog. In the blog it is mentioned that Google launches ‘YouTube Learning Destination’ to help continue learning, teaching from home. This feature is available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi and other Indian languages are coming soon.

The YouTube Learning Destination has full-fledged learning resources, from curriculum-relevant topics in Physics, Math, and Biology and also interest-based content like photography, yoga and more. This learning feature will help students to learn from home in this lockdown time.

In the blog, it is written that  “To enable teachers and educators to get the support they need to begin teaching remotely, we have provided training and tips through the Teach from Home hub, also available in Hindi. We’ve built the hub with the support and cooperation of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, who is also working with other education partners to respond to this emergency.
