The Sapra multispecialty hospital has announced a free bone mineral density camp at its hospital premises on Thursday, 30th October from 10 AM to 2 PM.

BMD Test is associated with checking of minerals (calcium) density in the bones using special X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound. The BMD test is for estimating the strength of the bones.

Dr. Amit Saini, Orthopedician at Sapra multispecialty hospital stated that the aim of organizing the free BMD medical camp is to enable people about their bone strength at an early age so as to prevent osteoporosis and other bone-related issues. In today’s fast running society, every person is suffering from bone health diseases. With growing age, a person’s bone density becomes lower than normal, the BMD test will help them to take steps to increase their bone strength and reduce the chances of having a bone fracture.
