Cannes Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. Cannes film festivals provide opportunities for the top talents in the film industry to be recognised internationally. The 75th edition of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival will begin on May 17 this year. And, surprise, Deepika Padukone, Bollywood’s greatest jewel, will serve on the Jury panel this year.

Apart from Deepika Padukone, other members of the jury include Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace from Sweden, filmmakers Jasmine Trinca from Italy, Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, Ladj Ly from France, Jeff Nichols from the United States and Joachim Trier from Norway. French actor Vincent Lindon will preside over the Cannes Film Festival`s jury 2022 and the festival will be held from May 17-28.

The jury president and other members of jury for the 2022 Palme d’Or prizes were announced on Tuesday by the Cannes Film Festival, and Deepika Padukone is a member of the panel.

Deepika is an Indian actress who is also a producer, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. She has acted in the Hollywood production, XXX: Return of Xander Cage with Vin diesel. As a producer, she has produced Chhapaak and ’83 under her Ka Productions. Her philanthropist activities can be seen through the Live Love Laugh Foundation, that raises the awareness about mental health.
