With a huge pandal that accommodated hundreds of guests dressed up in colourful chania choli, a shopping arena, food carts, and a grand central stage, Hisarians celebrated Navratri with a bang.

After two- years break, Dandiya Fest 2022 made a comeback in the city, where the people of Hisar participated with gusto. The grand EDM Dandiya Fest 2022 was organized on Oct 2, 2022 by Riyaasa events, HiDM, The Perfect plate and Surya Celebrations at Surya Celebrations. People eagerly waited for this festive season, which can be estimated from the level of excitement they had during the event. It was a crowd-filled event.

The central stage concept designed with EDM mix Garba music by DJ Mirchi in-house for Dandiya Fest 2022 was a new concept addressed by the audience. Manav Tent House beautifully decorated the ground to give the traditional touch and environment. The whole fun-filled night was planned in association with Jain Jewellers, APSA, Vardaiyni Mobiles, Lazeez Restaurant and co-sponsored by Om Mobile, Height Classes, Maddy Brownie, Shree Ram Emporium.

To give the event an extra traditional touch, the Hisar Dance Scene dance troupe was there. They started with Ganesh Vandana followed by dancing to Bollywood Dandiya music. People were seen enjoying the lot, some were busy clicking photographs, and others were seen dancing to dandiya beats with their friends and family.

For those who were not performing or dancing during the night, there were a lot of other activities planned. Dandiya fest had a shopping arena having different stalls displaying festive decor and goodies.

Special Food court by Lazeez Restaurant

As we all know, no celebration is complete without food and for Dandiya Fest 2022, organizers planned a multi-cuisine menu with Lazeez Restaurant. The chaat counters and other snack items were relished by the people. They displayed an extensive menu with different cuisines.

While addressing the media,  Director Lazeez said that “a dandiya is the main event that hisar people waits for and this time, organizers have designed it differently and beautifully. 

Nirmal Gawariya, Owner of Surya celebrations told that “ the event was a success and Surya Celebration addressed a wonderful audience.

 Organizers of the event,  Shivam Kansal, Kulbhushan, Kartik Mittal and Manmohan Singla said, “they are extremely happy seeing Hisar’s love and support and the event ended with happiness and created a history. This has given us new confidence and we are planning to host a new year event also on a new concept.

100+ gifts were distributed by Jain Jewellers, Om Mobiles, Vardaiyni Mobiles, and Supreme watches to different category winners like Miss Energy, Miss smile, Miss Dandiya etc and kids were also appreciated with awards and titles. Event anchoring was done by Anchor Himani.
