Like the other tournaments, the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup 2020 has also postponed due to the coronavirus. This football World Cup has also been eclipsed by the Coronavirus and this tournament has to be postponed. The FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup 2020 was scheduled to be held in India in November this year but now postponed due to the worldwide coronavirus epidemic.

However, earlier it was said that the tournament would start from its predetermined time, but the football governing body has decided that the Women’s Youth World Cup has to postponed due to the epidemic. The FIFA Committee has postponed the tournament indefinitely keeping in view the health of the spectators, players and support staff. This decision has also been appreciated by the All India Football Federation.

The World Cup was to be held in India from November 2 to November 21.

It is evident that due to the coronavirus, more than 58 thousand people have lost their lives worldwide, while 10 lakh people are still infected with the virus. Talking about India, more than 2600 cases have been reported. Of these, 68 people have died due to coronavirus. This is the reason that it has been decided to postpone the tournament like FIFA Under-17 World Cup 6 months in advance.

The coronavirus pandemic has stopped all sports activities in the world with mega tournaments like Copa America and Euro 2020.
