India is a country where talking about sex is taboo. Even today people shy from discussing this topic publicly. Rakul Preet Singh has taken the initiative in the film ‘Chhatriwali’ to educate people about sex. The Chhatriwali movie trailer has released today 7 January 2023. Rakul plays the role of Sanya Dhingra in the film.

The trailer begins with a school classroom where a student asks the teacher what sex is and the teacher hesitantly replies that if a bird sits on another bird….and then in another scene, Rakul Preet Singh shows that she knows how to speak straight and believes in straight talk. Seeing Rakul people’s reaction and hesitation, it is understood that people are not aware. It is shown in the trailer that due to being uneducated, his sister-in-law has had two abortions and due to this her condition becomes very bad. Rakul is shocked to see all this and then she herself goes away after picking up the copybook, it is necessary to tell the world about sex education, but Rakul also knows that it is not that easy, will society understand it or not? Whether she will be able to remove this taboo from the community or not, will be known only after the release of the film.

Chhatriwali is being directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Devaskar. The film stars Sumit Vyas, Satish Kaushik, Dolly Ahluwalia, Rajesh Tailang, Prachi Shah Pandya, Rakesh Bedi and Riva Arora.

‘Chhatriwali’ is releasing on OTT platform instead of releasing in theatres. Fans can watch Rakul Preet Singh’s upcoming film on ZEE5 on 20th January 2023.
