Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, this year schools will not be organizing a summer camp to maintain social distancing. Keeping in mind the importance of fun activities and summer camp, Google has announced ‘Camp Google 2020’. This initiative by Google will help kids and their parents to indulge in learning experiences together. The camp google is starting from 1st July 2020, which will have creative and innovative assignments such as writing, painting, art&crafts, storytelling, cooking, and coding. These assignments also include internet safety tips that will teach children how to be responsible digital citizens while being safe online. The last date of submission for all assignments is 20 July 2020.

Who can Apply

To participate in Camp Google, a student must have an email ID that will be a unique identifier. Only age groups 8 – 11-year-old kids & 12 – 16-year-old kids can participate in this competition. Indian nationality and studying in any school in India are open to participate in this competition.

Gratifications

At the end of the camp, all participants will receive e-certificates, have sessions with the creators, and many more exciting prizes! The top 15 winners will get personalized calls/messages by an inspirational leader/celebrity. The best assignments of the top 15 winners will also be showcased on social media handles of  Google India.
