Apple’s first India retail store launched in Mumbai; TIM COOK opened the gates

APPLE has launched its first retail store in Mumbai, India. TIM COOK is the chief executive officer of Apple. He launched the store at sharp 11 am by opening the doors of the store and welcomed the first set of customers.The store is located in a Jio world drive mall, in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) business district.
At Apple BKC, the customers can come together to explore Apple products & services. They can enjoy exceptional Apple services & learn how to get more out of their devices.In short, Apple BKC will serve as a dynamic space for customers. It’s one of the most energy- efficient Apple Store locations in the world with a dedicated solar array and zero reliance on fossil fuels for store operations.
Apple has been selling its products and services in India for the last 25 years through partners, and on Tuesday it opened the country’s first retail store in Mumbai. At the launch programme, Tim Cook was seen dressed in a black t-shirt and grey pants, accompanied by Apple’s senior vice president of Retail, Deirdre O’Brien.
Apple’s senior vice president of Retail, Deirdre O’Brien said “At Apple, our customers are at the centre of everything we do, and our teams are excited to celebrate this wonderful moment with them as we open our first retail store in India. “Apple BKC is a reflection of Mumbai’s vibrant culture and brings together the best of Apple in a beautiful, welcoming space for connection and community.”
There are more than 100 team members in Apple BKC, who can speak over 20 languages. All the customers were welcomed by these members. They helped customers to learn more about Apple products and offered advice on the best options to choose.
People all over India were very excited for the opening of the store. Many of them were present at the mall since morning to be the first customer of the store. After the launch of the Mumbai store on Tuesday, Apple is ready to launch its another retail store in Saket, New Delhi on Thursday.
