Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is a day to celebrate the Birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar (Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar). On 14^th April, 2019, India celebrates his 128^Th birth anniversary. On 29^Th August, 1947, a drafting committee was set up under Dr. Ambedkar chairmanship to prepare the draft of Indian constitution that’s why he is known as Maker of Indian constitution. He worked hard for the weaker and poor section of the society and uplifted the women, untouchables and labor class. He was a social reformer and an inspirational leader. In 1990, he was awarded posthumously India’s highest honor, Bharat Ratna.
