9 PM for 9 minutes: Indian Players Stood with Lights to Fight against Corona’s ‘Darkness’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an appeal to people to fight against the worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19). To remove the darkness of Corona, Modi had asked to turn off the lights for 9 minutes on Sunday night and to lighten a Diya, candle, torch or flashlight of the phone. Supporting this, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag, along with veteran sportspersons Bajrang Punia, Geeta Phogat, Yogeshwar Dutt, shooter Manu Bhakar, and former Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore have also supported in the 9 PM for 9 minutes campaign.
Sachin lit lamps with the family. He tweeted, “My family and I thank the scavenging warriors with selflessness.” Along with the hospital, they keep insects away by cleaning around us. Let us pledge to take care of our elders. “
